You can share your real-time location with anyone using Google Maps. Look for the ‘Share Location’ option when you click on the side menu of your Google Maps app.
The feature is available on both Android and iOS, and allows anyone you share your location with to track you in real time on Android, iPhone, mobile web, and even on desktop. Obviously, you can select whom to share your location with and how long to share.
While location sharing is active, the people you've chosen to share with will see you on their map and you will see an icon above the compass on your own map reminding you that you are currently sharing your location. You can stop sharing at any time.
